Adrienne Originals are hand crafted one- of- a- kind and collectible figures (Santa’s,Wizards, Carolers, Angels and more)Each little person is totally hand made by Adrienne, an artisan with talent and imagination.The heads and hands are individually sculpted, fired and hand painted. The feet are also hand sculpted as well as some of the details on the work.The clothes are sewn for each little person individually using beautiful fabrics and synthetic furs. Occasionally, real fur is used in the creation of a piece.The beards or hair are real wool, not synthetic or cotton batting. The wool is sometimes hand washed by Adrienne then dried and made into the beard each little person needs to complete his appearance. The beards and hair are also shaped and combed differently so each creation has his or her own look.The accessories are picked individually for each little person. No two are exactly alike. They are beautifully costumed with just the right accessories for their style.
The bases are specially hand crafted in oak, walnut or cherry by a wood crafter which is in keeping with the total handmade quality of the creations. The base is the only part of the creation that Adrienne doesn’t craft herself. She does stain the bases to give them a rich look.
Each Santa or figure creation is of heirloom quality. For Christmas or any special occasion Adrienne’s Originals are something to pass down through generations. Many hours go into the design and completion of each one. They are truly one-of-a-kind. (Ooak)
